Frequently Asked Questions
You may have a number of questions on your mind regarding the services we offer and how Clients interact online so we have provided the following FAQs. If we haven't answered your question please call 0333 939 8321
1 What is AnonyMind?
AnonyMind is an online treatment platform that delivers the very best in treatment from our expanding network of Psychiatrists and Psychologists.
We change the way people get help with facing life's challenges by providing convenient, discreet access to a qualified Therapist. AnonyMind makes professional counselling available anytime, anywhere, through a computer, tablet or smartphone.
2 How soon can I be seen?
3 How many sessions will I need?
4 What if I don’t feel comfortable with my Therapist?
5 How do I know that I can trust the Therapist with what I tell them?
An important part of a therapist's job is to establish a sense of trust and confidence in them and in the relationship between you both, so that you feel comfortable and able to share things that feel difficult or perhaps you have never felt able to share with anyone before. All AnonyMind therapists take this very seriously and will not discuss what you have shared with others, unless they are required to do so either ethically or legally.
AnonyMind Therapists are all active members of the main accrediting bodies for therapists in the UK and they must adhere to a professional code of ethics which includes strict rules about confidentiality. There are only a very few instances where they would be ethically or legally bound to breach confidentiality and our Therapists will explain this to you in the first few sessions or send you a copy of our T&C’s if requested.
6 How are Clinicians verified?
Our Clinician lead ensures that every Clinician that we bring to the platform is fully licensed and in good standing. Clinicians who apply to work with us are required to provide proper licensure documentation, proof of identity, and references from other licensed practitioners who have worked with them.
We then cross-check their licensure information with their respective licensing board.
In addition to checking credentials, each potential Clinician needs to complete a detailed case study exam that is then evaluated in a video interview with our clinical lead. The result of this rigorous 4-5 week process is that only about 15% of the Clinicians who apply to work through AnonyMind are accepted to the platform.
7 Is AnonyMind right for me?
